Audy’s influence extends well beyond the game of baseball in his home country of the Dominican Republic as well as in the United States. As an Ambassador of the game, Audy founded Dominicana Baseball Foundation and Training and has been growing the game and influencing youngsters lives for well over 25 years.

Angie Nelson
Program Director
Angie is the Program Director for Dominicana Training, bringing over 15 years of leadership experience and a lifelong connection to the baseball community. Having grown up around the game, Angie understands the impact baseball can have on young athletes both on and off the field.
As a parent of three boys currently in the program, she is deeply invested in the development of every player and family involved. Angie is passionate about helping build a positive, structured environment where athletes can grow their skills, develop confidence, and learn the values of teamwork, hard work, and respect.
Shelby Walker
Assistant Program Director
Shelby brings a passion for working with children, supporting families, and helping create positive environments where young athletes can grow and thrive. As a mother of four and a parent of two athletes currently in the program, she understands the youth sports experience from a family perspective.
Her passion for the sport and commitment to the athletes and families in the program have grown quickly. She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment where children can develop not only as athletes, but also as individuals. With a strong belief in the importance of communication, community, and family involvement, she is excited to help support the continued growth of the program and contribute to a positive experience for every player and family.
Sabdy Pelaez
Instructor, Trainer
Sabdy brings professional playing experience from the Oakland Athletics and other Major League Baseball organizations, giving him a deep understanding of what it takes to compete at the highest level. As a pitcher, he developed advanced knowledge of mechanics, pitch development, and the mental side of the game—skills he now passes on to the next generation.
Known for his attention to detail and ability to connect with players, Sabdy is passionate about helping pitchers build confidence, improve, and develop a complete approach on the mound. He is committed to creating a positive, high-energy training environment where athletes can grow, compete, and reach their full potential.
Ethan Oliver
Instructor, Trainer
With over 18 years of baseball experience, Ethan has competed at the travel, high school, and collegiate levels while continuing to pursue opportunities to play professionally.
He spent more than six years with the Ogden Raptors organization, where he worked alongside professional players and coaches, gaining firsthand knowledge of the preparation, discipline, and mindset required to compete at a high level.
As a multi-position coach, Ethan specializes in hitting, pitching, and fielding instruction. He is passionate about developing fundamentally sound players while serving as a positive mentor who builds confidence, encourages a strong work ethic, and helps athletes grow both on and off the field.
